For sale is a Axelson 16x54 heavy Duty Engine/Toolroom LATHE, 15 HP. Comes with a taper attachment. It is a very heavy duty engine lathe, with a 15 HP motor (230/460 volts), power everything, threading, coolant, lubrication, etc. This is really the highest quality lathe of its times. The wear on it, I would say, is moderate (and since everyone has their own opinion, feel free to inspect). You are buying it AS SHOWN. The lathe is under power and you can see it run. Numerous options and modes are available. One handle is broken, but still can be operated, just not as conveniently. Weight is estimated at 7,500 lbs. It has a D1-6 mount (chuck not included). One of the camlocks has the key hole slightly broken, but, seems to be still usable.

I did NOT paint it, what you see seems to be original paint and it is in a great condition.
Shipping: I can load it on a lowboy type trailer or a tow truck. I CANNOT put it in a box van or box trailer, as I need to lift it with a 10 foot gantry. I can deliver to you within 25 miles of Berkeley, IL for $500. You will need to unload. Weight is estimated at 7,500 lbs.
