  1-1/2" - hole in turret

  The lathe was REBUILT (including electrics) or unused, I am 
  guessing it was rebuilt. It was covered in COSMOLINE after 
  the rebuild. However, after that and sitting in their govt
  warehouse for a few decades, it was briefly set outside, where
  the handles and such acquired some rust. We cleaned up some ways
  and, while they have some rust spots they look mostly successfully
  preserved by cosmoline. This cosmoline will be difficult for you
  to clean up as it is very sticky.
