Old Neorealist 1940 Italian Oil Canvas Painting,Ferdelba

A nice framed old Italian oil on canvas painting from an estate will make a great addition to your art collection or your home. It depicts a scene of people on a promenade, that is walking recreationally, in an Italian city. It was painted by artist Ferdelba. According to information that I have, it is dated 1940, and was bought and taken out of Italy by an American right after World War II. It represents neorealism, which was prevalent in Italian cinematograph and painting around that time. This painting is a beautiful artifact of its time.

Note: I am giving you information about this paintings to the best of my knowledge and in good faith, however, no appraisal or certification has been performed.

Dimensions: the external dimensions of the frame are 41 by 29.5 inches, the internal (picture) dimensions are 35 by 23.5 inches.

Blemishes: as can be seen on one of the photographs, the paint chipped (crazed) away a little bit in a couple of spots. I will be glad to take additional pictures and email them to you.

A note on shipping: buyer pays shipping charges. In addition to shipping charges, I will charge $20 for packaging, as it is going to be laborious and requires extra materials. The painting will be shipped via UPS, due to its delicate nature. I will be most accommodating regarding shipping options (one day, ground, whatever), however, insurance is required on this item.

Escrow:If the price of this item goes over $500, I am willing to accept escrow. The buyer is responsible for all escrow fees and additionally $20 extra to compensate me for my time, plus all shipping.
