incubator

This is a Lab-Line CO2 incubator. Model 299-767, 7amps, 850 watt, serial number 0993-2246. This is a military surplus unit. It comes with manuals and maintenance logs and is very clean inside.

I have performed the following tests: 1) it maintains set temperature and 2) it does measure the CO2 level. I placed a cup of carbonated water into the incubator and it did detect a nonzero CO2 level after carbon dioxide escaped water.

Local pickup is preferred as this item is relatively big and weighs about 140 lbs. I will help you load it in your truck or SUV. I can also deliver it to a shipping dock for $60, tied to a pallet. I can also deliver it locally within Chicagoland as I have a pickup truck, for a fee. You pay for actual shipping and you arrange with a shipping company, but it should not be bad.

This could be a great incubator if you want to hatch chicks or grow bacteria, not that I know anything about it. The military rated it in condition B which is a good condition. Everything seems to work and it is built like a tank.
