Tucson ==> wavetek 3001 2

This is a Wavetek 3001 signal generator. It can generate AM and FM modulated signals. It appears to be in a good condition visually, all knobs are responsive and unbroken.

The only problem with it is that its left carry handle is broken. (See second picture for example)

The 3001 is a very versatile unit: you can set frequency accurately with decade controls, try out AM and FM modes, set voltage etc. It is also very easy to use, I have completely figured out how to use it without any manual. (real programmers do not read manuals).

Testing: I have been able to test this unit using my Tek 475 oscilloscope. You can see how the RF signal is modulated at 400 HZ frequency. You can also see how the wavetek responds to changes in the shape of modulated signal. The voltage knob also works fine. This seems to be a fine unit in excellent working condition.
