For sale is a Marathon 10HP Motor. 3 phase, 230-460 volts, 27-12.5 amps. It is also usable on 50 Hz, and produces 7.5 HP on 50 Hz. This is a heavy duty totally enclosed, fan cooled motor. It is in a clean, used condition and runs smoothly. This is a prized high efficiency motor, that will save you big bucks due to its power utilization.
Frame is 215T, which inevitably means that the shaft is 1 3/8" thick. Cast iron, heavy frame for long life and low vibration.
This motor would make an excellent idler for a homemade phase converter like mine. If you pick up locally, I wioll explain how to make a phase converter.
Shipping: this motor weighs over 150 lbs (I would guess 180 or so). It is not UPS shippable. Local pickup is free (casn only on local pickup). Shipping will be done via freight, $50 for delivery to a local terminal plus actual shipping cost.
