This is a Friden Alcatel 8620 postal scale. Capacity up to 10 lbs,
great for shippers who ship small things. Works as a very accurate
general scale, for kitchen, brewing etc. Has computer interface
on the back. Can be programmed to calculate postage. I use a similar
scale for all my ebay shipping, it is excellent. Works fine.
I compared the weightings obtained on this scale with our infant scale,
they are very similar.
