This is a Morse 40:1 gear reducer. Input accepts motor 5/8" shafts, has
keyway. It has a square face 4.25x4.25", 3.5" distance between threaded bolt
holes. 5/8" output shaft with keyway protrudes both ways, the shaft coupler on
one side can be removed. Model 72MJ0017, Ratio 40, 18GCT (?), .35 HP,
43.7.
The unit is in excellent condition, as can be seen on pictures. The
flexible shaft coupler on the output shaft can be removed. It rotates very
freely and gives a very pleasant overall feeling.
