Caterpillar 3116 Diesel Engine Automatic Transmission from GMC TopKick 10845

  For sale is a Caterpillar 3116 Engine with Automatic 
  Transmission from a GMC TopKick. That truck was owned
  by City of Chicago CTA and used as a salter truck. When I 
  bought it, it was not drivable due to extensive rust on frame, 
  caused by its use as a salter. The engine, however, started and ran
great.
  The only thing is that the alternator was frozen (you can hear the 
  main belt rubbing on the alternator pulley).

  Offered here is this complete engine, with automatic transmission,
  but without the radiator. None of the external components 
  are guaranteed in any way. The alternator for sure is junk.

  Please be advised that the engine has sbustantial rust on 
  the outside.
