This is a portable fiber optic polisher. The parts that are being sold include the case, the spinner, two thingies that hold fiber optical cable, and power supply, plus some consumables (diamond sandpaper etc). If you see it on the picture, it is being auctioned, what is not shown is not included. I tested the unit by plugging it into the power supply. When I turned it on, the barrels started spinning. Depending on whether I set the voltage to 3 or 4.5 volts, they spin at differing rates.
This may be a nice set for someone who needs a truly portable polisher to be put in their service van or something like that. Again, I am not an expert in these devices.
This is a military surplus unit that was rated to be in condition A, which means ready to use. A cursory examination of the manual suggests that all parts except for consumables are present, but you should know what you are buying. Ask me at ichudov@algebra.com if you have any questions.
