Powerful Aerotech 1135 DC Rotary Servo Motor w/Tach, Good Condition
You are bidding on a used but
in good condition servo motor by Aerotech. This motor was used on military aircraft,
but was removed due to rigorous maintenance and replacement
schedules. It cost the feds $1,500. The motor has
a tach. It weighs about 10.1 lbs.
See pictures below.
This is the last ne of my Aerotech motors. I have no more left.
It is guaranteed not to be DOA. Specifically, it
was tested as follows: connecting 12V car battery to the power
connectors made the motor turn nicely and quietly, albeit slowly (it
has 80 V bus voltage). I have not, however, tested its tach/encoder
features, due to lack of tools.
Satisfaction Guarantee: if you do not like this motor for any
reason, you can return it back to me within four days of receipt. You
will be responsible for all shipping costs as well as 10% restocking
fee.

The guys at Aerotech are fantastic. One of their engineers spent over
half an hour with me, going over their models etc. That's even though
I did not buy anything from them. So I hope that they will be able to
resolve your questions, as well. For another motor (that I will keep
for myself) they sent me a few missing machine screws, for free! They
also sell a family of nice
controller cards and
amplifiers.
The engineer that I talked to was able to send me the
pinout information. Here it is. (some pins may be optional. Be very
careful about connecting pins and double check everything with Aerotech)
