abbott ==> abbott 27

This is an Abbott Transistor made transformer. Converts 125 VAC into 27.6 VDC. Seems to have a built in stabilizer. The lower plate should be used for cooling (attach it to a heat sink). Tested, found to work. Size about 6x8x8 inches.

This is a military surplus item and it cost the Feds $1,400. Seems to have seen little if any use. Came with the federal storage packaging. Its condition was rated by the Feds as "A", which means "new".
