For sale is a Wilton 400S Green. I repainted it green. The most important thing in painting is preparation, and I did not skimp on that. I removed the old paint, degreased and cleaned all parts. I also re-greased the screw with lithium grease. Then I used a 93% cold galvanizing Welco paint (super tough stuff) as a primer, primer, and then green Rustoleum paint on top. The cold-galv stuff (see last picture) will provide you with years of rust protection. The screw is in a great shape. The beer can is shown for size comparison purposes and is not included.
This vise comes with copper jaws, that will protect both the parts that you clamp, as well as the jaws of the vise. Jaws alone are worth $30 new, though these jaws are far from "new".
Wilton buller vises are the pinnacle of modern vise engineering, made by strong and honest American workers like yourself. The bodies are made from 60,000 PSI tensile strength cast steel.
I believe that we are in the midst of a real depression that threatens America. It is important to keep our money in the good old USA. What is better than buying high quality goods at bargain prices and keeping your hard earned dollars in our economy. To help stimulate economic recovery, I am starting bidding from $0.01.
