Marked on the one side SIMPLEX NO 43- on the other side it is marked Templeton Kelly & Co. LTD Chicago. The base measures approx. 6 3/4" x 4" - the stand itself is 13" from the floor to the toe and it goes up to approx. 22 1/2". It functions fine- ratchets up and ratchets down. Has a natural patina
