For sale is a military surplus PP-1104C/G power supply. It is dual input voltage and dual output voltage, very easily switchable. Input voltage is 120 and 240 volts single phase, output voltage is 14 and 28 nominal volts.
Note that the power supply is actually adjustable and the high range is approximately 25-39 volts. The low range is twice less. To switch between high and low range you need to relink a couple of links on the front.
See /PP-1104C_G--Power-Supply-1.pdf, /PP-1104C_G--Power-Supply.pdf.
This power supply is actually regulated, ripple is 0.9% and regulation (1 - ratio of voltage under full load divided by voltage at no load) is 4%. Regulation is done by means of a magnetic amplifier. This is a 40 year old technology and is completely bulletproof, requiring zero maintenance and capable of taking a lot of abuse.
I have tested this power supply with a low voltage load bank, it operates to spec. You can see pictures of it operating.
Good for charging batteries, electrolytic applications, etc. Four of them could make a 28V, 200A constant voltage 100% duty cycle MIG welding power supply. Just to give you some ideas. I have a total of six power supplies. I might keep 1 of them for electrolytic derusting.
This power supply is currently wired for 110V input and has a standard 15A plug. At full power, it requires 31 A at 110V, so you need to either not use it at full power or put it on appropriate breaker.
It weighs 152 lbs, just above the UPS limit. Local pickup is FREE. Shipping is responsibility of the buyer (see the Freightquote calculator, you are responsible for ALL fees). I can deliver this item to a local shipping dock, for $50. That could save you a bundle.
