For sale is a new old stock Ingersoll-Rand intercooler. I called I-R, they said that they do not know the application, but it is a intercooler suitable for compressed air.
According to I-R, original cost of this is $9,999.00, I am not kidding.
This unit is surplus of fermilab. My guess is that it is for some enormous compressors.
This is a kit and comes with the big cylindrical thing, two heavy iron end caps, bolts (regular thread, nothing unusual), and gaskets. The cylinder includes heat exchanger (radiator) like mesh. Important: while it seems to me, based on common sense and my general life experience with machinery, that all parts are there, I CANNOT GUARANTEE that. Maybe something is missing. This set is sold AS IS, AS SHOWN.
:FREIGHT: $50.
