This is a Keuffel and Esser Navy protractor, used to plot course
of ships. It is in beautiful condition considering its age (it was
made in 1932). It is a precision 3 armed protractor which is used for
triangulating position based on horizontal angles. It was used for
navigation and can still be used for such, provided that your boat's
chart table is big enough.
This is a historical piece that is great in any collection. I also have
a great Navy sextant for sale, as well as a bearing circle. Check out
