UpUp

This is a military surplus UPSI 1500TR UPS. This UPS has been designed for the bad conditions anticipated for worldwide military deployment, and has several benefits over the more traditional civilian UPS devices: I think that it was designed to work with cheap generators. See this pdf file for more info. Definitely check out this Q&A about what makes UPSI power supplies unique.

This UPS has four power receptacles on the back. It does work to provide power (see pictures with the lamp). However, the batteries are just about dead. I talked to UPSI (www.upsi.com), they estimates the replacement cost to be about $180 plus shipping.

I took the cover of this UPS off, it does function fine and provides batteries with charging voltage.

This unit cost the feds over $5,500. You can own it, about as good as new (sans batteries of course), for a fraction of the cost. :NIIN:

Buyer pays actual shipping plus $15 packing. The UPS weighs about 90 lbs and the icebox case weighs about 60 lbs. :LOCAL_PICKUP:
