For sale is Fowler Trimos 1000A height gauge. It is HUGE. It is close to five feet tall and weighs about 200 lbs. It is powered by 110v via a regular computer plug. It is accurate to 0.0001 of an inch and has easy to read numbers in front and on one side.
Made in Switzerland, Fowler height gauges are considered top of the line in accuracy, repeatability, ruggedness and ease of use. Original cost around $8,000. Former property of a major government funded research lab. I tested it and it looks like it works just fine.
