For sale is a Fadal VMC 4020 CNC Vertical Machining Center. This fadal belonged to a company making beer cans and was only used occasionally to make parts for their production equipment. It was sold because the plant closed. You can see how good is the paint on the inside of the cabinet (I did not repaint it and only barely wiped it down). It has a card and drive to provide a 4th axis rotary table. Rotary table itself is not included, but the circuitry for it is there. It has cooled ballscrews. It also has rigid tapping. Provided with this fadal, is a Renishaw probe as well as the probe sensor and communication device, all plugged in by the original owner. With the probe, included are various tips and ends. My friend who knows Fadals, tested it out and created a G code program. In the video below, you can see it executed, tools changed, etc. I can ship this by flatbed truck. It will not be cheap but I have decent rates. You can also pick-up from me for free. I can also deliver to your location near Chicago and install it, for an ADDITIONAL fee.
