For sale is a lathe Clausing 13" by 18" bench LATHE maybe 100 series Mk3. Key dimensions are swing over bed 13", swing over carriage 8", distance between centers 18". This lathe can do threading and autofeed.
Made probably in the late 1940s. Check out for info on clausing lathes of that vintage.
This lathe works fine. I bought is from an old guy who did not use it much. I am a certified lathe operator (certified 18 years ago in Russia), so I could test it a little bit. Everything seems to work, the only thing that I could not figure out is how to use automatic crossfeed.
Included is the lathe, two 3 jaw chucks, one 4 jaw chuck, the center thing, and tailstock. Also, the bench, and bits and stuff. The centering bit is not included, it is mine.

This lathe, with bench, weighs perhaps 400 lbs. I can easily move it about, since it is on casters.

I had too many problems with people bidding on heavy items and then wasting my time with nonsense and eventually not paying. This item is NOT UPS shippable. It can only be shipped by common carrier. SHIPPING IS ENTIRELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. I can deliver it to a shipping terminal, strapped to a pallet, for $100.
Local pickup (Lisle, IL) is free and I can load it into a pickup truck. I have a crane and a hoist. Vans (with roof) may be trickier, but I can do it if you help.
