2003 09 ==> Rohde Schwarz

For sale is a military surplus Rohde Schwarz Polarad 1Hz-1.3MHZ SPN signal generator. I checked it with my old trusty Tek475 oscilloscope. The generator works find. I did not check any calibration, but it works and both frequency and amplitude can be adjusted with knobs. Has a IEEE 488 connector in the back.

I want you to know something about this unit. The power button was getting unstuck and the unit was turning off spontanteously. That's why the military wrote it off, I suppose. To correct this, I opened the unit and fixed the power button in the ON position with insulation tape. So now as soon as you plug it in, it powers up, boots up etc. It was a purely mechanical problem.
