For sale is a military surplus (Navy) Allied Signal insulation test set. It appears to be
working based on cursory testing. It powers up. It generates voltage
(verified that with a voltmeter), in DC and AC. When I test regular
insulation tape with it, high enough voltage does sometimes trip the
breaker, which I interpret as failure of the insulation. Otherwise the
unit is sold as is. Original cost, as you can see, is over $14,000.
