For sale is a 2 HP Bench Grinder. Made by Chicago Power Tools, this is a tough, high power grinder that is NOT overrated like the cheap imports. 15 amp rated, 115 volts but can be rewired for 230. It runs very smoothly and quietly. It currently had two wheels, coarse and medium, but I will include two more 8" wheels. Those wheels are made by Norton. Norton is a symbol of high quality in grinder wheels and those wheels are in their original boxes. The right cast guard has a hairline crack, which I welded from inside with Nickel 55 rod for cast iron. Note that this grinder accepts up to 10" wheels. This grinder weighs around (or more) than 00 lbs, so it is very heavy and I consider that to be very good. However, heavy weight implies high shipping costs. The grinder has a provision for mounting safety shields. 1745 RPM speed, this is a slow but high torque grinder for the toughest metal removal tasks.
